I am still able to go into the Tube and Pipe addin, and everything there works fine. I even tried creating a brand new assembly, adding one part and then trying to load the addin, but same results. Went to Control Panel / Programs and Features / and did both a repair and a reinstall of Autodesk Inventor Professional 2016, with a reboot each time before retrying. Rebooted PC and tried again, same result. I let it go a few minutes (It usually loads in 10-15 seconds) but nothing happened, so I had to kill Inventor from Task Manager to regain control of the system. Search or browse from the table of contents or start with the videos below. I could still rotate and zoom in on the loaded assembly I was working on, but nothing else works. Acquire essential skills through video tutorials and Inventor Help.
Today, when I tried to load into the addin, the Inventor menu UI stopped accepting input. Autodesk Inventor Professional 2021 - Store.softline:, , online, Autodesk Inventor Professional 2021. I have Inventor Professional 2016 64 bit with all updates installed, running on Windows 8.1 with all updates installed. I've previously been using the Cable and Harness addin without issues.
